Inspiration, Aspiration, Collaboration, Expectation

Welcome back to the summer term. We have lots planned for the term and some trips,  clubs and activities have already begun. Year 1 have already enjoyed Felixstowe and visiting the fort and feedback from children and parents is they had a wonderful time and people in Felixstowe commented how wonderful we were too! Hopefully you have received my letter about the Ofsted report. If you would like to read the report it can be found at www.gusfordprimary.org/documents-for-parents/ofsted-report.html . I will be holding a 'tea with the head' session on  Thursday 7th May at 2.30pm, where there will be opportunity for informal discussion about items you might like considered for our new development plan and the Ofsted. I look forward to meeting some of you there.

End of school Collection/ After school clubs

May we please remind parents that the school times are 8.50 (registration) - 3.20 (end of school day for KS1 and 8.50 (registration) and 3.30 (end of day ) for KS2.  Please ensure that you arrive at school in good time to collect your child from their class.  There have been a number of occasions when pupils have been collected more than 15 minutes late and this can be distressing for pupils who are expecting to be collected at the end of the school day from their classroom.  If you child attends an after school club these finish at 4.30pm unless otherwise advised.  Please ensure that you have returned the collection instructions for your child.  If you are collecting your child, or have identified another adult to collect, please ensure that you / they, are at school by 4.30pm.to collect your child    The teaching staff running a number of these clubs give their time voluntarily and have to prepare the classroom/hall area for the next day and any delay in the collection of pupils impacts on the time they leave school.  The school office is open for phone calls until 4.30pm.  After 4.30, and in the case of emergencies only there is a school mobile number available to contact a senior member of staff - 07947215650.  Thank you for your support.
